ElectraMet utilizes an advanced electrochemical method that extracts tin from wastewater, transforming it into a solid form on the inside of our cartridges. For high concentration applications, tin can be directly extracted as a solid metal inside our Bulk Recovery Cartridge (BRC). For low concentration applications, tin can be isolated as a solid metal inside our Fine Removal Cartridge (FRC), redissolved, and recovered with our BRC. This process enhances recovery efficiency and maintains high purity levels, making the reclaimed tin salable as a pure metal, or in some cases available for reintegration into production.
