PowerTech Water is looking for a highly motivated person to join the leadership team as our Chief Commercialization Officer. We are a young company working to deliver sustainable and eco-friendly solutions for removing contaminants from water. We replace traditional hazardous chemicals with an automated, clean, carbon-based electrochemical solution. No chemicals, no sludge, no hassle.
Someone who can think creatively with experience across sales, marketing, and finance is needed. The successful candidate will be able to work independently in a multidisciplinary role. The ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly to a changing environment is critically important.

Establishing an infrastructure where sales, marketing, and finance are fully integrated and equally responsible for revenue generation;
Measuring and analyzing sales and marketing productivity across the entire revenue cycle;
Identifying and removing defects to increase sales and marketing effectiveness and efficiency;
Implementing a systematic process of continuous improvement in ways that are repeatable and predictable;
Defining ideal buyers and market segments;
Defining ideal messaging and revenue models specific to market verticals;
Setting revenue-related goals and metrics;
Working on product management with product teams to define offerings;
Optimizing value props and positioning;
Establishing go-to-market models, pricing strategies, and more;
Identify and establish new revenue sources such licensing deals, IoT, big data, SaaS, metal recycling;
Develop and establish strategic partnerships: JDAs, MOUs, System Integrators and solution providers
Pivotal Experience & Expertise
10+ years of sales and marketing experience
5+ years of managerial experience leading a sales & marketing team
Experience working as an executive in a growing start up environment strongly preferred
Strong technical skills with a creative mind set
Strong analytical skills using data to drive strategy development and decision making
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities & deadlines
Experience working with ERP systems
Detailed understanding of capital sales, operating leases, service contracts, and licensing
Desire to be part of business minded multi-disciplined team supporting the growth of new categories and brands
Water / Environmental Industry Experience: brings a thorough, yet modern approach to environmental remediation, water treatment, and resource recovery
