Field Service Engineer

ElectraMet is looking for a highly motivated person to join the team as a Field Service Engineer. We are a young company working to deliver sustainable and eco-friendly solutions for removing  contaminants from water. We replace traditional hazardous chemicals with an automated, clean, carbon-based electrochemical solution. No chemicals, no sludge, no hassle. 

We are looking for an individual that will be responsible for executing the engineering, piloting,  installation, commissioning, and production support. This person will partake in constructing,  piping, and wiring a modern water treatment system. The successful candidate will also be able  to work in an industrial environment, be available to travel to various customer sites, is adaptable to changing circumstances, and is driven by the desire to keep their assigned customers happy  and their equipment in good operating condition.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Installation, Commissioning, and Support of ElectraMet systems 
    • Plumbing – Piping water treatment systems 
    • Electrical – Wiring and troubleshooting 24 VDC and 120/240 VAC devices o
    • Mechanical – Assembling various mechanical devices 
  • Interacting with customers
  • Ability to travel (Up to 50%)

Qualifications:

  • Process engineering experience a plus. Strong understanding of water treatment processes.  
  • Solid background in mechanical and electrical components (pumps, valves, sensors,  filters, etc.) of processes commonly used for industrial aqueous separations or water  treatment systems. 
  • Hands-on mechanical assembly, piping, and electrical experience. 
  • Experience in industrial settings. 
  • Good people skills for interacting with customers. 
  • Experience in the water industry is a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
