ElectraMet has opened a new demonstration lab in Taiwan through a collaboration with regional partner Star Advance, marking a key step in our mission to better support our customers across Taiwan and Southeast Asia.
As demand grows for sustainable treatment and reuse of industrial wastewater, we’ve seen an increasing need for localized technical support. Taiwan, in particular, is home to some of the most advanced manufacturing in the world—and many of our customers are actively seeking solutions that recover acids like sulfuric, phosphoric, and hydrochloric, and reclaim metals such as copper and precious metals from wastewater streams.
This new facility, located in Zhunan Township, Miaoli County, will serve as a testing hub to run sample evaluations and small-scale pilot trials that help manufacturers validate beneficial reuse strategies quickly and cost-effectively.
Our collaboration with Star Advance gives us local technical capabilities while allowing us to provide faster turnaround, deeper collaboration, and more responsive service to customers in the region. Together, we’re committed to helping companies shift from waste disposal to resource recovery—transforming environmental challenges into economic value.
